50a50, on La Vanguardia

 

“Firm step to parity” is the title of the report that La Vanguardia has written about the association 50a50. The journalist Mar Galtés met Anna Mercadé, Helena Torras, Susana Bleier, Anna Gener and Maria Teixidor, all members of 50a50, to elaborate a text focused on one of the first lobbying actions of 50a50, related to the elections to the Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona.

In the report, the president of 50a50, Anna Mercadé, summarizes the objective of the association: “What we want is having 50% of women wherever decisions take place. And we also want that women wanting to access these positions do not feel that they are fighting alone.” 50a50 is, in short, a support network for all women who want to access decision-making positions.
