Committed to equality

The Board of Directors of the 50a50 Association is made up of women with a high professional profile and strongly committed to gender equality and parity, who work altruistically to achieve a fairer and more equitable society, for the common good.

50a50’s honorary chairwoman is Cristina Gallach, previous director of Communications at the United Nations and highly commissioned for the Spanish’s Government’s 2030 Agenda, and is chaired by Anna Mercadé, founder and director of ODEE.

The board meets for an ordinary assembly once a month, to set work targets and organise the entity’s workload. It also holds other meet-ups and sessions according to necessity and what is currently happening.
